We are excited to announce our Family Fun Day (originally scheduled for Father's Day, but postponed due to poor weather conditions) which will take place on Sunday, June 26, 2005.

There will be special competition events and fun for the entire family!  Ribbons and prizes will be distributed throughout the day with various races (running races, sack races, three-legged races, relay races, canoe races, etc.) beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Other activities will include a scavenger hunt and much more!  Join us for a day of old-fashioned outdoor fun and participate in the various family activities.  See you there!

RULES:

This record is for most participants in an organized pillow fight.

1. Pillows used must be commercially available bed pillows. Other pillows such as sofa cushions, etc are not acceptable.
2. Each participant must be armed with his/her own pillow or they cannot take part in the attempt.
3. The pillow fight must occur within a designated indoor or outdoor area. Parameters of this area must be clearly visible. Participants may not step outside these parameters or they are disqualified.
4. The pillow fight must last at least 1 minute. An official time keeper must be on hand to signal the start and stop of the fight.
5. After the pillow fight and upon leaving the designated area, all participants must sign his/her name declaring his/her participation in the record attempt. This signing must occur in front of two independent witnesses (see below) who observe the pillow fight in its entirety.
6.  This list of signatures must be numbered and submitted to Guinness World Records. A parent or guardian must sign for anyone under 12.
7. Independent witnesses are people who are not associated with or related to the organizers or the participants.  Witnesses must provide typed and signed statements on letter-headed paper declaring the details (including exact measurements or numbers, and the methods used to derive these figures) of all that they observed, and attesting to the fact that all guidelines were adhered to.
8. Several qualified medical personnel must be on hand throughout the attempt.
9. Labelled video footage of the entire pillow fight must be submitted as well as good quality colour photos.
